Naturopathy is a modality of functional medicine, consisting of herbal and nutritional medicine, lifestyle techniques, iridology and flower essences supporting all aspects of health. When combined with conventional and functional testing methods it can be used to find the root cause of clinical conditions, supported with individualised formulated treatment plans.
Have you been told that everything is fine, and everything is within “normal ranges”, yet you continue to experience fatigue, period pain, weight gain, acne, bloating, constipation, headaches, eczema, to name a few?
Naturopathy is not a band-aid fix. It provides the ability to understand the underlying cause and/or causes of your symptoms whilst providing a personalised approach on health.
After going through my own health journey, I found a personalised approach, understanding and unveiling of root causes to be the solution to really treating my symptoms and it is possible for you to.
As a practitioner who has completed a Master course in comprehensive diagnostics (blood tests), our naturopath interprets your pathology results to understand your health blueprint and find long-term solutions to heal your health issues, whilst optimizing overall health and wellbeing.
What is Naturopathy ?
Functional Pathology
Blood Pathology Comprehensive blood analysis helps assess what’s going on internally from nutrient status, hormones, liver function, thyroid function, inflammation etc.
Salivary Hormone Testing Saliva testing allows us to evaluate hormones and your stress response throughout the day, including the Cortisol Awakening Response (CAR), cortisol rhythm, and DHEA levels.
Gut Microbiome Mapping Using advanced stool analysis, we gain a detailed picture of your digestive health, including beneficial bacteria, microbial diversity, digestive function, inflammation, parasites, and other factors that may be contributing to symptoms such as bloating, skin conditions, IBS / leaky gut, or immune dysfunction.
Vaginal Microbiome Testing A simple at home vaginal swab can assess the balance of your vaginal microbiome, including pH, beneficial bacteria, aerobic and anaerobic organisms, Candida species, and other microorganisms that may contribute to recurrent infections, and ongoing symptoms. Vital in preconception care and often a missing piece in infertility.
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) Hair analysis provides insight into mineral status, heavy metal exposure, and patterns of nutrient balance that may influence energy, metabolism, stress resilience, and overall wellbeing.
Urine Testing Urine testing can provide valuable insight into your health, from identifying urinary tract infections and bacterial imbalances to assessing hormone metabolism, adrenal function, nutrient status, and exposure to certain environmental toxins through specialised functional testing.
Breath Testing Used to investigate Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) and Intestinal Methanogen Overgrowth (IMO), which can contribute to symptoms such as bloating, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhoea, reflux, and food intolerances.
